"Rugantino"
This year the class III B of San Benedetto staged a
musical: "Rugantino", which sets in Rome in the 19th century.
Rugantino is a typical roman character, he doesn’t like working, he loafs about all
the day.
He falls in love with Rosetta, who is married to Gnecco. For her love he becames a
‘real’ man. In fact he accuses himself of Gnecco’s murder and is sentenced
to death but doing so he becomes a "hero" for Rosetta. |
