Hi, everybody!

My name is Alexey Dievsky. I’m a boy of 15.

My family isn’t very big – we are only three – my father, my mother and I. But there are also two grandparents, four aunts and uncles and nine cousins.
My father is a teacher, he works at VITU (Military Engineering Constructional University). He teaches Theoretical Mechanics. My mother doesn’t work.
We have a cat, her name is Dymka (a tone of grey colour). She doesn’t work, either. Of course, I love them all!

We live in a not very large flat in the downtown of Saint Petersburg. It’s near the Underground station, so it’s easy to get to school in time. My school is situated almost in another end of the city (1.5 hours by feet). I like it living in St. Petersburg, for it’s a very beautiful city with all its rivers and buildings. It is considered the cultural capital of the country, and I believe it ought to be a political one as well.

My hobbies aren’t very interesting – collecting coins and screws, a bit of origami, reading (science fiction and fantasy), listening to music (good old rock of 60s-90s, English as well as Russian), etc. I’m also fond of amateur programming.

My favourite subjects are Mathematics (Mathematical Analysis), Physics, perhaps, Literature. I don’t know why I like them, it’s too much for me to answer.

My favourite outdoor activity is just walking around the city – I’m not a very sportive person. I dislike playing football or hockey or other games.

My favourite writers are Bulgakov, Alexey Tolstoj, Strugatskiye brothers, etc. As I’ve written above, I like good old music of  60s – 90s, and I dislike most of modern music – rap, rave, pop and so on. As for the movies, I don’t like trillers, horror films or American battle films. I’m fond of Soviet comedies and tragedies.

I’d like to visit Beijing, as I’ve never been there before. My second place of interest is Saigon. Then, maybe, it wouldn’t be bad to visit London.

Mmm… that’s almost all I can
