The Carnival
The Carnival is a party that is celebrated in the middle of February where each child is free to dress itself up as they like. The most classical italian customs are:
Arlecchino: a motley custom that according to the legend has been realized with pieces of cloths by Arlecchino's friends.
Pulcinella: tipical Neapolitan character that enjoys him self with Punch his friend/double English friend.
At the Carnival the Italians always love eating two typical specialty:
"Frappe" and "Castagnole".
The "Frappe" are fried strips of pastry strewn with lump sugar.
The "Castagnole" are little balls of fried pastry but are sprinkled of sugar.
